After Hours Service
We provide an after hours service which can be reached on 3831 9999 where advice will be given or a home visit arranged if necessary.
If you have an emergency, do not call the after hours service, but Ring 000.
The proactive runs an appointment system with allowances made for emergencies. If you feel your medical problem requires a longer consultation, please discuss this with the receptionist and the time of making your appointment. Please note that you should make individual appointments for each family member even though you may come together. Evening patients may be accommodated by appointment on Mondays and Thursdays.
If you cannot come into the surgery, we can visit you at home. However, because facilities are better at the surgery, we prefer to consult there. We also make regular visits to nursing homes. To make an appointment, please contact reception.
Nundah Village Family Practice is a mixed billing practice. Some fees are privately billed and some fees are Bulk Billed. We use the HIC Online payment processing facility. This means fees are payable at the time of consultation by cash, EFTPOS or major credit cards. Some services attract charges that cannot be claimed by Medicare, however you will be advised of this in advance.
