DR MAY TSAI

General Practitioner, FRACGP, MBBS

Dr May is a local QLD medical graduate.  She has worked as a resident and registrar medical officer in Toowoomba Base and The Prince Charles Hospitals in Queensland; Westmead and Blacktown hospitals in Sydney.

She undertook further training in general practice in NSW and gained the fellowship of Royal Australian Collage of General Practitioners (RACGP) with special interests in Cardiovascular disease, Respiratory Medicine, Chronic Illness, Dermatology, General Paediatrics, Women's Health and Pre-employment Medical Assessment.

She performs full skin check and surgical procedures for skin cancers/lesions excision.

Outside of working hours, she enjoys swimming, yoga, travelling and spending time with her family.

In addition to English, Dr Tsai is also fluent Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese dialect.

DR REGI XAVIER

General Practitioner, FRACGP, MBBS,AMC.

Dr Regi has obtained Fellowship qualification of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners  (FRACGP)

Dr Regi has been working in General Practice and public hospital system in Australia for about 15 years. He has been working in different medical specialities at various Queensland Health Hospitals prior to moving to Australian General Practice.

He has extensive experience and expertise in mental health having completed the training period and some of the requirements of Australian Specialist Psychiatrist training of Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.

He has expertise and skills with special interest in management of Chronic Diseases, Diabetes and Hypertension management with previous experience of working in Elderly Medicine.

 Dr Regi spends adequate clinical time with patient as he believes in holistic approach to medical practice, integrating social and emotional components of illness thus providing comprehensive and quality of continuing care.

When not at work Dr Regi stay home spending time with family, and cooking new recipes.

DR JANAKA PIERIS

General Practitioner, FRACGP, MBBS

Dr Janaka is an experienced, qualifying as a doctor in 1994 from the University of London. He worked for many years in the hospital system and medical assistance industry. 

He became a General Practitioner in 2007 and moved to Brisbane in 2010 where he has been working full-time. 

Dr Janaka enjoys all areas of General Practice and has a particular interest in chronic disease management and travel medicine.

DR SAMUEL MIN

General Practitioner, FRACGP, MBBS

**Please note, Dr Samuel Min is not currently accepting new patients**

Graduated from University of Queensland in 2014. He trained at Logan Hospital and Logan area for a number of years in many aspects of general practice before completing his GP fellowship. He is also a designated aviation medical examiner (DAME) as well as a Hepatitis B s100 prescriber. His interests include preventative health, paediatrics, hepatitis B, skin conditions and aviation medicals. He is fluent in English and Korean.

DR ANUJ GUPTA

General Practitioner, FRACGP, MBBS

Graduated from James Cook University, Townsville in 2007 and has attained advanced General Surgical and Urological training before completing his Diploma in Child health and General Practice Fellowship. His special interests are  Kid's health, Mens Health, Sexual health, Minor procedures besides other areas of complex medicine. He is fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu and vernacular Spanish and Arabic.

DR DEEPA JOY

General Practitioner, FRACGP, MBBS

Obtained her fellowship in General Practice in 2017 after training as a GP registrar with General Practice Training Queensland. Prior to joining general practice she worked as a resident at the QEII Hospital, Mater Hospital and Royal Children’s Hospital.   Dr Deepa grew up in India and obtained her medical degree (MBBS) there.She enjoys all aspects of General Practice and has special interests in women’s and children’s health (she is the mother of two beautiful and boisterous boys) where she has obtained a Diploma in Child Health from the University of Sydney.  In her spare time Deepa's interests include poetry and painting.

DR BRADLEY LOUGHREY

General Practitioner, BSc (Hons), MD, PhD

Dr Bradley Loughrey graduated as valedictorian from the Griffith University medical school in 2017. He has since worked as both a junior and senior resident at Redcliffe Hospital undertaking rotations in both general and emergency medicine, orthopaedic surgery, oncology, paediatrics, geriatric medicine and rehabilitation.

As a prior career research academic in possession of a PhD in chemotherapeutic pharmacology, Dr. Loughrey is passionate about research and attempts to integrate evidence based medicine into his patient practice. He is blessed with a wife, young son and two beagles and enjoys gardening, golf, basketball and running.

His special interests are in chronic disease management / prevention, oncology and men’s health.

DR SAMEER TATAVARTI

Dr. Sameer Tatavarty is a specialist cardiologist primarily trained at the Prince Charles Hospital and then at the Gold Coast University Hospital. He is a published academic researcher and an associate lecturer at the University of Queensland School of Medicine. He has a focus in the field of clinical cardiology, with a special interest in heart failure management, echocardiography, preventative medicine and lipid management.  

 

He is proficient in Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE), Trans-oesophageal echocardiography (TOE) and treadmill stress testing +/- TTE support. He earned his medical degree from the University of Queensland after attaining his bachelors in Hons. Biopharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Ottawa in Canada.

DR KASUN WAKWELLA

General Practitioner, MBBS

Dr Kasun Wakwella grew up in Brisbane, and graduated from The University of Queensland in 2017.

 

He has previously worked as a resident at Redcliffe Hospital, before training in General Practice. He finds enjoyment in all areas of general medicine, with interest in Children’s health, Men’s health, musculoskeletal medicine, and skin and minor procedures.

 

In his spare time he enjoys the outdoors, staying active with karate or volleyball, and travelling around wherever he can.
